- Consultancy contract commissioned by the Interregional Agency for the Po river: mapping of the areas at risk of flooding due to the manoeuvres of the discharge organs or to the hypothetical collapse of the dam of the expansion tank on the Secchia river; in progress.
- Interregional Agency for the Po River (AIPo). Study of the filtration phenomena below the foundations of the main banks of the River Po. Started in 2016, in progress.
- Sedipass Project in agreement with Norwegian University of Science and Technology - NTNU, Trondheim, on: 1) Development of reliable and cost-effective techniques for measuring sediment concentrations and size distribution in rivers and hydraulic structures. 2) Improvement of physical scale modelling using lightweight material rather than sediment. 3) Quantification of sediment erosion on turbine components and development of effective methods to minimize damage.4) Identification of the environmental impact on the downstream river environment due to sediment irrigation.
