Reference libraries

The reference library for lecturers, researchers and students of the department is the Engineering and Architecture Library - BIA divided into three sections:

• Library "Giovanni Michelucci" (Viale del Risorgimento 4, Bologna)

  • Prevalent subject areas: multidisciplinary for engineering and architecture

  • Prevalent subject areas general chemistry, physical chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science and technology, industrial and environmental biotechnology, chemical thermodynamics, transport phenomena, unitary operations in the process industry, chemical processes, techniques and technologies for environmental protection, waste management, industrial safety, geohydrology, hydrocarbon reservoir engineering, mining art, engineering management
  • From Bologna's central train station, the section can be reached by bus line 35 (direction Ospedale Maggiore-Facoltà di Ingegneria).

  • Prevalent subject areas: architecture, technology, structural engineering, hydraulics, geomatics, geotechnics, road infrastructure, transport, surveying, drawing, history of architecture and construction, building, bio-architecture, design, architectural design, territorial planning, urban planning.
