The Teamworking Room is a new study and work space for students that can be booked online. The room is divided into 4 group areas for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 occupants.

What can be booked:
The Teamworking Room is a new study and work space for students that can be booked online. The room is divided into 4 group stations for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 occupants (see floor plan). There are also 2 single stations for which no booking is required. One of the bookable stations consists of a set of 6 tables on castors that can be moved around the room as required.

Who can book:
All UNIBO students with a valid institutional email address.


When can you access it:
The room is accessible from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and workstations can be booked in 1-hour intervals.


Where is it located:
The room is located in the Engineering Department at Via U. Terracini 28 in Bologna, on the ground floor, near the badge machine.

Booking rules:

Students of Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna can book workstations for themselves and for members of a study group or association on all days when the room is open and accessible. In order to make the best use of the space and ensure that all interested students have access to the workstations, certain rules must be followed, in addition to the common rules of common sense and respect for others, for the things and places where you study/work.

  • The workstations are identified on the floor plan, and students may reserve a maximum of 4 hours per week, even if not consecutive, using their name and email address. Individual hours can also be booked at different workstations.
  • Students who book a workstation using their name (email address) must also indicate the other students who will be using the workstation with them, up to a maximum of 4/6 or 6/8 students, depending on the capacity of the workstation itself.
  • In order to ensure that students take turns and that the room is used correctly, the emails of the bookings and the actual presence at the workstation during the booked time will be checked.
  • The workstations are designed for group study/teamwork and group bookings with fewer than 4 occupants per workstation will not be accepted.
  • Bookings must be made at least 2 days in advance, subject to availability.
  • An automatic confirmation email will be sent to the email address of the student making the booking.
  • Reservations can be made up to 15 days before use.
  • Reservations can be cancelled up to the day before.
  • When the workstation is not reserved, students are free to access it individually.
  • The 2 single workstations can be used freely without reservation. Continuous use should not exceed 4 hours.

Rules for use:

  • Eating meals is not permitted inside the Teamwork Room.
  • Students are requested to reassemble the hexagonal configuration of the modular table after use.
